Modern Quilts

So me and Katy took a quilting class a LONG time ago, and although they are beautiful, i think we both have been hesitant to make a quilt quite like the first ones we made cause they are so country.

These are the cutes quilts that would be really easy... although we never learnt how to do the acutal quilt stiching.....

Hanging Pictures.

So the other day my sister told me that i hung my pictures too high. and i haven't even really measured how high i put it.... BUT i found this blog that says how high to put your pictures.


How To: Hang Your Artwork and Not Screw It Up
A number of years ago a friend gave us a great tip that to this day has made picture hanging a simple, pleasurable task. The tip was to always hang your art at 57" on center. "On center" means that the middle of the picture is at 57" (obviously, the hook will be higher). Interestingly, the 57" standard represents the average human eye-height and is regularly used as a standard in many galleries and museums...
